About

WHO WE ARE

Bio-Inspired Textiles (BIT) is an interdisciplinary research project combining biology, materials science, and textile design disciplines.

We are exploring the potential of applying a range of biological design structures to textile design practices. We are working with students, practitioners, and industry to explore how bio-informed textiles can enhance current sustainable design practice.
